BAKER / WOHL ARCHITECTS was responsible for the architectural design of a 100,000 sf diesel engine repair shop, cafeteria, locker rooms, storage areas, offices and classrooms. The New Haven Diesel Maintenance Facility demonstrates the firm's ability to achieve high design quality, even in very large and highly technical, utilitarian industrial structures while working in a non-traditional delivery approach with the State of Connecticut. It shows how BWA has successfully managed a complicated and technical building program by coordinating with the efforts of ten engineering trades. |
